Destiny of the Daleks: The Fourth Doctor, Romana II & the Return of Davros

The Daleks are back—and unfortunately for the universe, they’ve found Davros! This week on Earth Station Who, the crew travels back to 1979 to review the Fourth Doctor classic “Destiny of the Daleks,” starring the legendary Tom Baker and marking Lalla Ward’s debut as the newly regenerated Romana II.

The Doctor and Romana arrive on a seemingly dead planet that turns out to be a very familiar place: Skaro, home of the Daleks. But the Doctor’s oldest enemies aren’t alone. Locked in a seemingly endless war with the robotic Movellans, the Daleks have returned to Skaro searching for their creator, Davros, hoping his twisted genius can finally give them the advantage they need.
